- DINANT ist ein kleines Städtchen an der Maas im belgischen Wallonien. Das Städtchen ist eher unbekannt, war aber 1940 und 1944 von hoher strategischer Bedeutung für alle Kriegsparteien. Ähnlich wie in Remagen mussten die Truppen hier einen großen Fluss überqueren.
